Recipes . . .

I just finished reading an article in one of the on-line magazines about building a better web business. It made me feel right on track. A couple of months ago, when we finished writing www.GourmetFoodGiftPeople.com I wanted the website to be more than just products. So, I added a section that included recipes and I just included a recipe for Maple Ridge Farms Ham with Raspberry Glaze in our last email newsletter. Amazingly enough, the article I just read said that at this time of year consumers are flocking to websites with recipes. They said it didn’t matter if you sold nuts and bolts or mattresses, but to add some recipes to your website and to your newsletters and your customers will love you. – I just felt like I had been validated!

We are always trying to figure out ways to attract customers to our websites. We don’t want to always try to sell you a product, but engage you in what you are passionate about and where we can contribute. Today, I added seven new recipes that are from my family’s collection. Aunts, grandmothers and my mother are all contributors to these family recipes. Many recipes are older than I am – (not telling you how old!) but I am sure it will bring back many memories of early childhood for many of you when you read through them or give them a try.

If you have a recipe that you would like to share with other Creative Expressions customers, please feel free to email us at recipe@gourmetfoodgiftpeople.com Please put RECIPE in the subject line.
